You’re probably here wondering: why this store, and how did it all start?

The truth is, it began with a simple but powerful goal. I wanted to build something around what I truly love.

For over ten years, I worked in the firearms industry and enjoyed every minute of it. Since then, I’ve explored different career paths, but the desire to create something I was genuinely passionate about never left.

While trying to figure out what that “something” was (and trying out a bunch of different YouTube ideas ha!), I noticed a constant in my life. No matter what was going on, I was waking up early every morning to paint models. Star Wars, World War II, Warhammer, if it could be painted, I was probably watching a YouTube video and obsessing over it. That’s when it clicked: why don't I try and make this my job?

So I decided to go all in.

COV Werks was born as a combination of my painting YouTube channel and this online store. My goal wasn’t just to rely on YouTube ads or Patreon support (though I truly appreciate that too), but to offer something tangible to the community that supports me. If you enjoy the content and want to help the channel grow, why not get something awesome out of it? More models, terrain, and tabletop accessories to fuel your hobby?

This journey isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us who love this hobby.

Right now, we’re at the very beginning.

But my hope is that one day we’ll look back at this moment and see how it grew into a place filled with models, paints, supplies, and everything a hobbyist could want.
